LAN Access From Remote in router log – am i being hacked?

Network log shows "LAN access from remote" over and over and over.

The “LAN access from remote” messages mean your router is passing connections through to some computer on your network from the outside world. All of the connections are going to whichever of those computers has the IP address 192.168.1.4. On that computer, the traffic is going to whichever program listens on network port 30448.

It’s not likely that you’re being hacked. Are you running any torrent programs or P2P program/software? That would…

  • Slow down your internet
  • Cause inbound connections to that computer on an unusual high port and account for skyrocketing bandwidth usage.

Once i get time, definitely i am going to update this post with more detailed instructions to prevent such (might-be) hacking attempts !
